MECC Hosts “Europe–Macao–Hengqin Economic, Trade and Tourism Development Symposium”

The Macau European Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the “Europe–Macao–Hengqin Economic, Trade and Tourism Development Symposium” was successfully held on 15 May 2026 at the Macau SAR Government Commerce and Investment Promotion Institute .
 

The Symposium brought together European Consuls General in Hong Kong and Macau, Macau SAR & Henqin officials, and Greater Bay Area business leaders. Through focused discussions and presentations, European representatives and stakeholders in Macau and Hengqin deepened their understanding of relevant policies and explored practical cooperation opportunities.

Presentations covered key topics including Macau’s business environment, technological innovation, talent initiatives, and new developments in Hengqin, reinforcing MECC’s commitment to promoting dialogue and enabling international collaboration.
