MECC Attends "Greenway 2026"

The Macau European Chamber of Commerce (MECC) was delighted to have three of our representatives—our President, Echo Chan, along with Rui Pedro Cunha and Jeremy Artan de Saint Martin—attend the inspiring 5th edition of "Greenway 2026" in Hong Kong on 23 June 2026. Co-organised by the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao and The European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, the event was a powerful gathering of over 300 passionate minds from government, business, and civil society, all united by a shared mission to accelerate our region's green transition.

The energy in the room reflected a profound commitment to a cleaner future. Discussions centred on how the Greater Bay Area can collaborate for carbon neutrality, focusing on green cities, sustainable mobility, and green capital. It was encouraging to explore how European technology can drive local decarbonisation, and MECC is proud to join these vital conversations for a greener tomorrow.

We extend our warmest congratulations to our friends at the European Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the European Union Office to Hong Kong and Macao for organising such an outstanding and meaningful event. It was wonderful to reconnect with so many peers, and we look forward to carrying this momentum forward through even deeper green cooperation across the region.
